This collection consists of diaries, journals, correspondence, subject files, press clippings, scrapbooks, speeches, and personal orders covering all aspects of Admiral Harry Yarnell's career, including his command of the Asiatic Fleet from 1936 to 1939. The final series of these papers documents the activities of Rear Admiral Charles M. Thomas, Yarnell's father-in-law, in the period 1889-1909.
